During that time they have been recognized
as an innovator in packaged travel and have
been at the forefront of new tour ideas since then.

Founders Doug Lofland and Jeannie Barresi revolutionized the international group ski market by combining dynamic tour components such as ski and cruise the Greek Islands, or ski and explore Istanbul and other exciting cities such as Barcelona, Paris and Prague - growing the company’s international departures by over 300%.

Over 850 groups have experienced the thrill of skiing in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, California, Canada, New Mexico, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and France with Colorado International Tours. Summer skiing in New Zealand and South America has been enjoyed by groups in combination with other exciting extensions.

Building on this innovation, other destinations and tour themes have been developed, and the name was changed to “Beyond Boundaries” to more accurately reflect the scope of these travel offerings.

Beyond Boundaries’ experienced staff has worked with the National Geographic Society, World Wildlife Foundation, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Smithsonian, Dupont, Chrysler and other major corporations.
