Cycling through five provinces over the extremely strong and winding dyke of the old Zuiderzee. Discover the historical Ijsselmeer towns of Volendam, Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Stavoren, Kampen and Spakenburg. Enjoy the largest bird breeding ground in Western Europe, the Ijsselmeer, and discover the Weerribben nature reserve on your bicycle.

Waterland
Base trip of 3/4/5 days

The Hampshire Hotel Waterland (4-star) makes an excellent base for various routes. It is situated next to a superb 45 hole golf course.

In the middle of the watery North-Holland countryside you can cycle various appealing polder and lake routes. There is the Gouwzee route with the classic tourist destinations of Edam, Volendam, Marken and Monnickendam, or the short Edam-Volendam route with extremely Dutch 'highlights'. For the oldest polders, take the Zeevang route; the Beemster route brings you past one of the best known pieces of reclaimed land. For more of the polder landscape, follow the Zaanse Schans route and the Waterland route.
One of the possibilities is even a bike trip to the heart of Amsterdam.

Arnhem
Base trip of 3/4/5 days

The magnificent four-star hotel in the Landgoed Groot Warnsborn is located in a real oasis of space and peace. Cyclist who prefer luxurious accommodation have come to the right address here.

The routes we have selected take you through a beautiful and varied part of the Veluwe. On the Hoge Veluwe route you get to know the National Park and its inhabitants, such as wild boar, roe, deer and moufflon. This trip includes a visit to the well known Krφller Muller museum. A shorter route is the Warnsborn route, that takes you through various country estates and parks. On the Veluwezoom route you go through the high(est) points of this holiday. On the Rivers and canals route you descend the lateral moraine to enter the totally different area of the large rivers.

Lochem
Base trip of 3/4/5 days

The Hampshire Hotel 't Hof van Gelre guarantees a stylish and pleasant stay. After each route you can discuss the day's riding in the comfortable lounge, or take a refreshing dive in the heated indoor swimming pool.

In the middle of the Achterhoek region, farmland crisscrossed by hedges and trees, you find the centuries-old town of Lochem.
A short round trip takes you in a wide circle around the Lochem mountain. On the Graafschapsroute you pass several country estates, while even more gardens of delight and country estates await you on the Landgoederen trip, although unfortunately only one of the country houses is open to the public. The castle trip, cycled officially for the first time more than 90 years ago, speaks for itself. The Ooievaarstocht (Stork trip) owes its name to the stork village of Gorssel, where you can come across some trades that are out of the ordinary, such as rope maker and mustard maker.
