Hawaii 3-Island Hopping Bike and Boat
Maui, Lanai and Molokai
Experience the spectacular beauty of the Hawaiian Islands on this island-hopping journey around the 3 central islands of the archipelago, Maui, Lanai and Molokai.
Each with a vastly different character, look and feel, from the other-worldliness of Maui's Haleakala Volcano and a lush paradise ride along the Garden of Eden that is the Road to Hana, to the alluring seclusion and arid splendor of Lanai, formerly the Pineapple Island now known as the Private Island, to the immense beauty and towering sea cliffs of Molokai, the tallest on the planet, you'll wonder at the variety of the 50th State of the USA.
On this hub and spoke tour you'll never need to pack your bags as we use one hotel for the whole tour and travel out to each bike ride by van or ferry. Each day includes some Hawaiian beach time during or at the end of the ride.

Day 2: Sunday - West Maui Loop
Total Biking 46 km/29 miles

First day on the bikes takes you around the stunning West Maui Loop. With high sea cliffs and a
single lane road this is island riding at some of its most spectacular.
Dinner on your own, and overnight: BW Pioneer Inn Lahaina
Day 3: Monday - Haleakala Volcano
Total biking distance 72 km/45 miles
Breakfast
If you like downhill riding this is the day for you. After visiting the peak of the extinct shield volcano
we start riding just outside the national park at 2000m above sea level. The descent is fast and fun all
the way to lunch at Ulupalakua Ranch and winery. After lunch there is a small climb before descending again
all the way to the beach.
Dinner on your own, and overnight: BW Pioneer Inn Lahaina
Day 4: Tuesday - Molokai Island
Total biking: 45 km/28 miles
Breakfast
On the doorstep of our hotel is the pier for the ferry to Molokai Island, one of the least developed islands in Hawaii.
We transfer to Halawa Valley and explore some of the valley on foot with a local friend. After lunch it's on the bikes
for a lovely coastal ride back to the ferry.
Dinner and overnight: BW Pioneer Inn Lahaina
Day 5: Wednesday - Free Day
Breakfast
We take a rest from the bikes so that you can explore other parts of the island. Try snorkelling, trek Kalaupapa National Historic Park, or from December to February head out for some whale watching.
Lunch and dinner on your own.
Overnight: BW Pioneer Inn Lahaina
Day 6: Thursday - Lanai Island
Total biking 56 km/35 miles
Breakfast
It's back onto a ferry in the morning for the short trip to Lanai Island. The ride here is up or down with little
flat land. We stop in historic Lanai City (it's really a small town) which has hints of the old south of mainland
US with it's pine trees, old wooden churches and sleepy feel.
Dinner on your own, and overnight: BW Pioneer Inn Lahaina
Day 7: Friday - The Road To Hana
Total biking: 63 km/39 miles
Breakfast
We saved the best ride to the end. The legendary Road To Hana is one of the great coastal roads anywhere.
Located on the windward side of the island, this area is lush and green, full of thick forest, waterfalls and
small water holes. You won't forget this day of riding!
Farewell Dinner.
Overnight: BW Pioneer Inn Lahaina
Day 8: Saturday - Maui, Hawaii - End of tour

Departure
Requirements (Level 1 - 4):
Hawaii being a rather mountainous and therefore beautiful set of islands, presents us with many hills to contend with. Good news is that the road conditions are excellent throughout the islands we will be cycling on, we try to begin most days at the top of the hill for a long and thrilling downhill run, and we always have the support van to help you up whatever hills you'd rather not climb.
